Furthermore, at the end of its useful life, 100% of a Nucor building can be recycled into a variety of steel products including new cars, appliances, buildings and bridges.

LEED Ratings & Metal Buildings

  1. NBG buildings are manufactured from over 70% recycled steel.
  2. The steel in a NBG building is 100% recyclable at the end of it’s life.
  3. We offer two standard white paint finishes, which exceed the LEED Solar Reflective Index (SRI) requirement of 78.
